Swim TIme!

Uncovering the pool this year was much easier than last year. We have a pretty good idea of what we're doing now and the pool when uncovered didn't look like our own personal swamp. ICK!

The kids jumped right in and had a great time. Except for Ryanne, who looked at everyone like they were crazy!

Decks

We bought a power washer a couple of weeks ago and decided for some reason that today would be the day to try it out. We have a LOT of deck space and it's obvious it hasn't been cleaned in quite some time.

We ended up getting most of the decks cleaned when the power washer let out a really nasty sound and smoke starting spilling out of it. Needless to say we blew it up. On a good note though, it's still under warranty.

Congrats Konnor!

Today we went down south and had a great time at Konnor's graduation party. The kids had a great time playing on the putting green, having ice cream and playing with their cousins...who even though they are much older still love to play with the little ones.

I'm not sure what type of bird it is, BUT if it doesn't stop waking me around 5am EVERY morning I just might have to take it out. I have to admit that while the song it's singing is pretty, a little later in the morning would work wonders for my disposition.

Big Day For 2!

Today was Karis' last day of Preschool....for this year anyway. She'll start up again in the fall and go 5 days a week in the mornings. If we thought we were busy this school year, I just know it's going to be crazier next year.

Today was FINALLY Brennan's big field trip to Niabi Zoo. Due to some nasty weather the field had to be cancelled and rescheduled 2 times.

The zoo has 2 newborn giraffes. They were absolutely adorable.

Taryn's Spring Concert

Every year all the 3rd grade classes do a Spring concert. It's so fun to see what the music teacher and the kids come up with. You can tell that everyone practiced really hard and they were truly enjoying themselves.

My 2 Little Monkey's

Taryn loves the monkey bars at her school. She's got the blisters and calluses on her hands to prove it.
Brennan has discovered the monkey bars in the last couple of weeks at his school. He has the battle scars to prove it as well.

T-Ball!

Tonight was Brennan's first t-ball practice. It went pretty well for the most part. I must say that this is an all new experience for us and at this point I'm just waiting to see how the season will go.

Still Going At It!

We were invited to a birthday party today at one of the local parks. No one would have thought that the high would be in the 50's and that the wind would be howling. Regardless we went and had fun.

St. Judes Bike-A-Thon

This morning Karis' preschool did a Bike-A-Thon for St. Judes. It was super cute watching all the kids on bikes, trikes and scooters. They had a great time and raised a lot of money.
