I am still in complete awe!
The best thing about visiting Mt. Rushmore at the end of March is that we were pretty much the ONLY people there. The worst thing about visiting at the end of March is that NOTHING is open. You pretty much read billboards for hundreds of miles telling you what is coming up and then as you get closer you realize that everything is closed. Everything being closed meant that we saved a TON of money! A TON!. It was great being able to let the kids run and not have to worry about crowds of people and potentially losing some little people.
We would like to go back at some point and do some cave exploration and go to Bear Country.
Seeing Mount Rushmore is something none of us will forget.
