Taryn's Architecture Project

The 4th grade classes went on a field trip a few weeks ago to check out Dixon's downtown architecture. They then had to do a project in regards to what they saw. Taryn decided to make Dixon's arch out of marshmallows. She determined to use marshmallows and we finally figured something out. =)

Selmi's!

This morning was our yearly preschool field trip to Selmi's. They have the BEST sweet corn, apples (especially honey crisp) and blueberries!

Today we feed the animals, went on a hay wagon ride, walked through the corn maze, got weighed on the pumpkin scale, played in the corn box (soooo much fun,) picked out a pumpkin, played outside, had a snack and then it was time to go home.

4 Having Fun & 1 Hold Out

Kolin and I couldn't help but laugh at them today. Ryanne on Taryn's back with Brennan holding on and Karis holding Ryanne's hand just to make sure she wouldn't fall off and hurt herself.

The of course we've got the 11 year old who thinks the little people are a tad annoying.... She'd rather do her own thing.

Way To Go 6th Grade Junior Dukes!

Today was the Junior Dukes Classic game. The cheerleaders had new cheers and a new dance to show everyone during half time. The football team had yet to win a game and everyone was hopeful we could pull it off today. At least we really really really hoped!

In the end the boys were able to pull it off! I've never seen such excited kids and parents!
