It's time to say goodbye!

The weaning process is just about over. Tonight is the very last night for Taryn's meds.

We've been waiting a long time for this moment. On one hand it's so exciting and on the other very frightening. We're heading into uncharted territory. Next week she'll have her last EEG and then we'll meet with the neurologist the following week.

Guess who decided to take her first steps today? Kolin saw her take 2-3 steps when he came home from work (I didn't see it, so it didn't count) and then I caught her just a little while ago.

Jadyn and I solemnly swear that she did not watch tv or play video games the past 6 days.

Today was the Thanksgiving Feast for Karis at school. They had a lot of different food for snack and everyone enjoyed the pumpkin pie and pumpkin cookies.

The Sucker Episode....

Somewhere, somehow this little girl found a sucker. She then proceeded to upwrap the sucker.

This is what I saw when I looked toward her.....

She wouldn't let go of it! She found it, she unwrapped it and it was HERS!

She's VERY happy with herself!

The sucker is gone and Ryanne is a 'tad' ticked off!

Oh Where, Oh Where????

A certain almost 4 year old would really like a magical wand for her birthday.

I think I've told you all before that she has great plans for this magical wand. With the wand she would turn her daddy into a King and her mommy into a Queen. She would then turn her 3 beautiful sisters and herself into princesses.

What you ask would she do to her only brother? Oh she's got great plans for him.

She would love to have the magical wand for no other purpose than to turn her brother into a FROG!

Yes, I'm crazy!

I decided at the last minute that I wanted to go to the midnight showing of New Moon last night...even though I'll be seeing again tonight. It was great and even though I was by myself.

6 Days.....

Jadyn is our big time TV watcher. If we'd allow it, she'd be sitting smack dab right in front of the TV 24/7.

Today her language arts teacher gave the kids a challenge.

No TV for 6 days.

Jadyn is optimistic that she can go the full 6 days with no TV.

Seek Me...

I don't think there is anything sweeter than listening to our baby girl giggle at the older kids while she plays hide and seek with them. They will hide behind a chair and as she comes around a corner they'll pop out with a "BOO!"

The giggles that ensue have the rest of us laughing as well.

Is it Friday yet?

It's going to be a mom's night out!
Tickets have been bought for 8 of us.
Dinner first and then it'll be time to stand in line to get a good seat.

Ryanne is finally feeling better. Still sleeping a good chunk of the day away, but that's to be expected. I took her back into the dr. for a suspected ear infection and guess what? Yes, she's got one and now we're on meds for that bit of nastiness. You could tell that everything had moved up into her head and she was acting miserable again.
